Mondays

Every Monday, I log onto Facebook (like I do every morning) and am greeted with tons of statuses complaining about it being Monday. It seems like no one likes them. I used to be one of those people. Mondays begin by forcing yourself out of bed after you went to bed too late on Sunday, most likely because you are trying to prepare for Monday. You have to focus after a weekend of relaxation. When I was teaching, you had to restart the routines for the kids. Mondays are like the first mile of a run. It's hard to get started after you've been out of it for a few days.

Well, as cheesy as it sounds, I don't hate Mondays any more because it's just one more day I get to be home with Austin. We get back into a routine. I eat better and I workout more. Mondays are welcomed in the Alcock home!

  2. I'm in the "I hate Mondays" camp! They always seem so long and it's so hard to get the kids at school back on track.

  3. I feel the EXACT same way as you about Mondays. I like being back on schedule. I love when my husband is home on the weekends, but he really messes us up! Haha
